Brown Dog Antiques is a pretty country store overlooking beautiful Skaneateles lake. We are easy to find and fun to visit. Our store offers a pretty blend of antiques, furniture, linens, glass, porcelain, pottery, art, primitives, farm implements, décor , toys, books, dolls, jewelry, vintage jewelry, custom made jewelry, collectibles and more.

Brown Dog Antiques is located in the heart of fingerlake country. We are 8 miles south of the village of Skaneateles, and are open year round. We are a full service retail store, are a member of the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce, and situated in a beautiful pastoral setting. There are many fun things to do in this area such as: wine tours ( Anyelas Winery is just a few miles away), art galleries, boating, fishing, skiing, fine dining, highly rated Spa Mirbeau, shopping, hiking, music festivals, theatre, antique shows, and much more. Our antique line consists of unusual and varied items. We have Eastlake, Empire, Victorian, and Eames era furniture as well as the unusual such as Hoosiers. Other furniture may include: love seat, piano, Mottville and Sinclair chairs, telephone table, Martha Washington sewing tables, child’s Victorian rocking chair, dining room set, curved chinas, side by sides, tables, dressers, armoires, buffets, drop leaf tables, step stools, lingerie chests, and more. Glass and china items include: depression, art glass, Syracuse china, Liberty Blue, Limoges, Havilland, Fenton, Carlsbad, European and American glass, Occupied Japan, collectible glasses, Nippon chocolate set, and much more. Our primitives consist of farm tools such as hand held sickle and rake, block and tackle, oil lamps and wall bracket holders, potato baskets, egg holders, bucket benches, butter molds, coal shovels, wine or cherry press, and more. There are also several wooden trunks, cedar chests, an old blanket chest, a banker’s desk from the mid 1800’s, barrister bookcases, many prints, silhouettes, paintings, photographs, children’s books, toys, dolls, cribs, collectible English cups and saucers, postcards, and much more.

Our jewelry items are varied and include: estate and vintage jewelry, collectibles by Yosca, Weiss, Eisenberg, Sarah Coventry, Trifari, Coro, Mexican,and more. I also make and design custom jewelry using sterling silver, pearls, precious stones and glass including swarovski. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings, can be found as sets or sold alone.
